Monica Schaffer is a teacher, pianist, and accompanist who joined the High Street Music Company in 2020. She has both a B.S. in Music Education from Toccoa Falls College (Toccoa, GA) and a M.M. in Piano Pedagogy from West Chester University of PA. Besides teaching lessons to kids and adults, she has also trained and mentored other teachers and worked as a pianist and accompanist in various capacities. She currently serves as the pianist, choir accompanist, and worship team coordinator for Windsor Baptist Church in Eagle, PA.

She has taught private piano and voice lessons for over 15 years and finds great joy in helping students of all ages and abilities have fun during the complex process of learning their instrument. She prides herself on tailoring her lessons to adapt to each student’s learning style and goals. She is also a great believer in the multifaceted intellectual, physical, and emotional benefits of music education, and in the importance of empowering students to create their own music in addition to learning the works of others and making a game out of, well, anything.
