Craig R. Clemens is a musician and private music instructor specializing in guitar and bass. Craig is a graduate of The Hill School, and earned his Bachelor of Music degree at Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA, graduating cum laude. In recent years, he has worked with artists from New York to Nashville, producing albums, live recordings on location, and demos for clients while also performing as a studio musician and musical arranger.
As a session guitarist and bassist, his studio performances have been featured on the soundtracks of several television shows and movies, which were broadcast on NBC, CBS, and Lifetime, among others. Besides guitar and bass, he has also recorded and performed on pedal steel guitar, keyboards, banjo, mandolin, and assorted drums and percussion instruments.
As a songwriter, he composes songs for his own projects as well as collaborating with other artists on their original music, and is a member of ASCAP as a writer and publisher. He has performed with a variety of artists at various live venues, as well as with his own bands. Craig has taught and continues to teach students of all ages from beginners to advanced.
Craig enjoys studying, researching, and writing about music history, focusing mostly on the music and musicians of the 1960’s.
