strings / music theory

Youssef Zechariah, known as Joe, is a passionate and accomplished violinist with over two decades of experience in performance, composition, and music education. A graduate of the Music Institute of Egypt (2003–2009), Joe received formal training in violin mastery, music theory, arranging, and composition. He has a deep understanding of both Western classical traditions and Middle Eastern musical expression.

Joe has performed at notable venues including the Egyptian Opera House, Walt Disney Concert Hall, and Crystal Cathedral in California, and has been a featured violinist in ensembles such as the Irvine Classical Players, Synesthesia Sinfonietta, and the International Orchestra of the Arabian Peninsula.

As an educator, Joe taught string instruments at Westminster High School, served as Music Director at multiple churches, and offered private instruction in violin, viola, cello, and music theory. His teaching philosophy centers on making music accessible to all levels—simplifying complex notation and nurturing both technical skill and artistic expression through personalized lessons that adapt to each student’s needs and make learning enjoyable.
